Our Beginning

Hanabusa (Hana) Ito drew her inspiration from a fond memory of that ONE unforgettable dress from her childhood: a black dress, reminiscent of a ballet tutu, adorned with a large bright red flower corsage at the waist.

Whenever there was a special occasion, or even to simply indulge in princess play at home, she would excitedly locate it in her wardrobe, even past the time she had begun outgrowing it.

As Hana outgrew the “usefulness” of her unforgettable dress, her mother suggested handing it down to a friend, unaware of its deep significance to her daughter. Hana vividly recalls the devastation she felt at the thought of parting with it because of how incredibly special this dress was to her.

With the release of “The First Birthday Dress TM” , Hana is looking to capture that same feeling for young ones worldwide - the same feeling shared by Carrie Bradshaw for her Tulle dress in “Sex and the City”. A feeling that a great design can outlive the bounds of “usefulness” and become iconic.

2023

ETLIBERI Store Opening

ETLIBERI began in 2023 with the opening of its boutique in Tokyo dedicated to curated childrenswear imported from Europe and the United States. From the very beginning, the vision was clear : introducing a more refined, emotional, and fashion-forward approach to children’s clothing in Japan.

The boutique quickly became known for its distinctive aesthetic, bringing together elegant silhouettes, elevated fabrics, and contemporary childrenswear brands rarely accessible locally.

2024

The Birth of the Brand

In 2024, ETLIBERI evolved from a curated boutique into its own luxury childrenswear label, launching its first collection of occasion dresses for kids.

Inspired by Japanese aesthetics, emotional storytelling, and modern couture, the brand introduced a new vision of childrenswear : expressive yet minimalist, elegant yet comfortable, timeless yet contemporary.
This transition marked the true beginning of ETLIBERI as a creative fashion house with its own identity and artistic direction.

2025

Growing recognition

By 2025, ETLIBERI began attracting growing attention through press publications, creative collaborations, and curated events that expanded the visibility of the brand beyond its original audience.

As the collections developed, ETLIBERI became increasingly recognized for its unique aesthetic language : sculptural silhouettes, emotional storytelling, and a modern reinterpretation of luxury childrenswear.

2026

International Expansion

In 2026, ETLIBERI entered a new chapter with the beginning of its international development.

As interest in the brand continued to grow globally, ETLIBERI is planning to expand its presence beyond Japan, sharing its vision of luxury childrenswear with an international audience.
Through worldwide shipping, global visibility, creative partnerships, and international communication, the brand is beginning building communities around the world who resonated with its approach to childhood fashion.

We Care

At ETLIBERI, our dedication to little ones goes beyond just clothing; it's a commitment to fostering confidence, joy, and self-expression in every child. We believe that every child deserves to feel special, loved, and free to be themselves.
